Topic: DSP Settings Registry Lock behaviour

Hi Matthias,

I think the Registry Lock in the DSP settings need some improvements.

-> unlock the DSP settings
-> reboot
-> lock the DSP settings (remember your settings)
-> reboot

=> all fine

-> change some settings
-> unlock
-> lock (remember your settings)
-> reboot

=> old locked settings loaded

Expected: new settings loaded

So the issue is that we have to unlock first before doing changes. But this is unlogical in my opinion. When doing the lock the current settings should get locked.

And: The DDS settings don't seem to lock at all (or they are not affected by this "bug"). Didn't test this again.

Re: DSP Settings Registry Lock behaviour

As long as you don't unlock changes of the settings are not written (stored) into the registry. That's why the current behavior is fully logical, and I really don't expect it to work in a different way. So unlock, change settings, lock. Easy...

Re: DSP Settings Registry Lock behaviour

I find it weird. "Lock" should do a "Apply" in this case in my opinion ...

What's with the DDS setting? Does it behave differently?

See above. The function is called 'Lock Registry', and that is exactly what it does.
