Topic: RME fireface800 NOISE NOISE NOISE

Hello,

without even connecting anything to the interface, channels 7 8 9 10 have that terrible sound (https://www.yousendit.com/download/RlRv … bTlFQlE9PQ), it is very annoying, i tried everything possible, changed firewire cables, tried on different computers desktops and laptops. i'm a mac user, downloaded the latest drivers and firmware, nothing but that terrible sound, i have an ssl pre 4 channels on 2,3,4,5 working fine, and channel 1 is ok 2.

Help needed please

Sounds like the unit needs repair.

Impressive! Perhaps the wrong frequency selected on the Fireface 800 from the DAW?
