I own a Multiface I. I was getting frequent errors on it. I added a 2ampere 12Volt AC power adapter to it. then the problem seemed to be solved. Last summer,  I started to get more errors. what I was doing is to plug out the firewire cable from the I/O box and replug it after a few seconds and that used to solve the error. But now (today)  no matter what I do the card and the I/O box do not connect. If I replug the firewire cable the error led flashes rapidly (5-8 hertz i think). then gets constant.
I use windows 7 ultimate64bit . ProTools 9. 12gigabytes of DDR3 RAM. graphic card is AMD Radeon HD5700. gigabyte Tec. X58A-UD3R motherboard.
