Topic: Is HDSP9652 vintage or still current?

I see that this discussion has gone on for years with many different problems & solutions presented w.r.t to HDSP9652 in this forum. I'm still holding on to a Rev 1.3 card & would like to know the following.

HDSP9652 Rev 1.3

Q1: Does this work in a PCI slot, only in Win7/32 bit?

Q2: Does it work work in PCI slot which has pci-e bridge?

Q3: Does this work with a pci-e to pc adapter card? in Win7/64

I've heard of at least one instance where someone is using it successfully with a pci express card!


I'd be very grateful for any answeres,even if it's a simple "Yes" or "No"

The HDSP 9652 is a current product....

1. Yes, but also with W7/64.
2. Yes, performance will depend on the bridge implementation.
3. Maybe - you'll need to test, we do not test such adapters.
