Topic: Midi Latency
Hi,
I'm experiencing extreme MIDI latency using a Korg Triton into the HDSPe AES-32, both in Reason and Reaper.
I've been looking through the manual and can't seem to find how to fix this. Can you tell me what to do?
Thanks!

Please be more specific about what "Midi Latency" refers to exactly.

An extreme delay between the time a key is pressed on the board and the note is heard from any virtual instrument.
I've messed with the buffer settings in both programs, that didn't fix it.
When I was using a digi 002, there was no latency at all. PCIe should be even faster.
Hi, also...when I go to Utilities > Audio/Midi Setup, it only shows the AES channels. Shouldn't I be seeing the card as a Midi device, too?

So you're talking about a Mac. Of course there should be a HDSPe AES MIDI device. Might be hidden outside the window - scroll around.
If you want more support you will have to give more useful information: OS X version, driver version, computer...
