Hi,
I am considering to buy OctaMic XTC but I am wandering if there is possibility to connect active monitors (Yamaha HS 8) via phone outputs on the front of the panel.
If not, what would be the option?

Hi,
I bought OctaMic XTC and I have question regarding connection with powered speakers.
Is it also possible to connect them via Digital breakout cable, AES/EBU, D-sub25 to XLR?
If yes, how am I going to control volume, through Total Mix or knobs on the front panel?

Basically yes, but...
The XTC does not have TotalMix. And the AES Outs do not include the option of listening to a mixdown of the mic inputs (like the Phones outputs have).
So for that case there is no volume control on the front panel.
I forgot to mention, I already have HDSPE MADI FX connected with XTC. Problem is Monitoring... I have need to connect 2 headphones and 2 powered speakers...
What would be the best option?

The MADI FX has AES to connect the monitors, and the XTC provides a feedback path to the 2 headphones on the front panel. All controlled from TotalMix then.
