Topic: HDSP 9632 Error Code 52

Hey guys,

Call me a noob but after the installation of the new drivers 4.04 under Win7 64bit I get the error code 52, "digital signature is required", and can't get rid of it. Neither TotalMix nor the Hammerhead Settings will start. I tried to install them in safe mode, tried a workaround, put the card in a different slot, everything in vain - even the old drivers 3083 won't work.

Funny thing is, I tested the HDSP 9632 on my other computer (Win7 64bit as well) and had no problems at all. The card is up to date. Any ideas are appreciated!

Well, a new installation of Windows (4th time now) did the trick. No idea what caused this error.

Hi guys!

I just received a new machine I ordered today.... Win7 64 pro, and I have a multiface II pcie which I have moved over from my old machine.
I am having exactly the same problem here after installing in the new pc.
I tried hitting F8 on boot so force unsigned drivers as a check and all worked just as it should but unless I do this every boot I cannot get it to load the drivers.
I followed the link you provided to the ms knowledge Base you kindly provided MC and uninstalled the win update mentioned but I still cannot get windows to load the drivers.....

I am pretty much stuck now......

Which drivers did you install? The latest ones are signed, so it might be a problem with restrictions or a missing signature related update on that computer.

Hi MC!

I did indeed install 4.04 but i still got the error.... I managed to get round it though by rolling back windows to a 'virgin' install, taking the computer offline first, installed the hardware... also 2 x UAD2 cards which someone else is having issues with as UAD drivers are unsigned http://uadforum.com/uad-pci-pcie-cards/ … ature.html
and i seem to be ok so far... i still have to install my DAW/pugins etc which i'm hoping to get done today....
