Topic: Totalmix fx 1.07 and FF400

Why does the output volume and balance move at the same time when it is on stereo mode ?? is this an issue with old soundcards ?? this did work before as it should with the old mixer.

It's more an issue of applying simple logic. The old mixer had mono outputs only. The new one has stereo. The changed behavior makes total sense as Mono can not control stereo without changing pan as well.

Ok, i understand. So there's no way for you to implement an option from the old totalmix to get this to work as it should with FF400???

Switch the outputs to mono.

Not possible with Main Out. The correct way is to switch the unit's encoder to stereo mode. Which the OP did not do, although his statement reads like that.
