Topic: TotalMix FX 1.07 Zipper Noise

-> playback a Sine wave via software
-> move the related Software playback or Hardware output fader


Result: Zipper noise (distortion) heard during fader move


Can this be fixed/optimized?

The zipper noise is the same as with the old TotalMix - and hardware based. Newer interfaces than your HDSP 9632 mostly include an improved algorithm to minimize the zipper noise. That kind of algorithm needs hardware resources, so can not be added to older designs.
