Topic: RME Babyface, dual boot Windows 7 / Linux and class compliant mode

Hello,

I'm sorry if I ask a question that has already been answered. I did some digging with the search tool on this forum, especially on the Linux part, but I couldn't find what I was looking for.

My computer runs dual boot Windows 7 and GNU/Linux Fedora 21 (both 64 bits).

The Babyface interface runs smoothly under Linux in Class Compliant mode. It runs well under Windows 7 with the driver-based USB mode.

What bothers me is that everytime I boots into the other OS (which I do quite often), I need to switch modes, which is a bit of a hassle as it needs unplugging the USB cable and simultaneously pressing both "Recall" and "Select" :-(

Is there any sort of workaround that would let me use Windows in Class Compliant mode ? Or something that would make it more easy to switch ?

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately there is no other way to do this.
