Looking to purchase an HSDPe AES but had a question about it before I do.
If the AES is set to slave clocking, following an external wordclock, and is playing back WDM audio, what happens if the external wordclock changes?
I know that the card will detect a rate mismatch in its settings, but what appears on the output? Will it be the new sample rate, and if so, will it be pitched up/down, or rate-converted? Or will it just continue playing the old sample rate, ignoring the new wordclock rate?
