Topic: Absolute newbie with RME but....

Hi all!
Recently bought the RME AIO and run this in a 64 bit windows system.

Updated to firmware 13 and latest drivers are installed.
Everything works as charm.
That's the reson I bought the hardware.

I saw the newsflash about TotalMix FX 4 all...
Happy as one could be.
But I must have misread and need to get some confirmation about this.

This new driver is suppoused to give me a software dynamic section as well as an effects section within the driver?
I can't find it within the TotalMix FX interface??

Or have I misunderstod the whole thing by thinking this applies to all RME cards or just the ones with a hardware engine running the dynamic and effect section?

A bit confused here and belive me, I have searched the web inside out for this.

Thanx in advance and forgive my crappy english.

Sincerley.

Re: Absolute newbie with RME but....

All cards and interfaces benefit from the new mixer layout and functionalities. Effects, however, are rendered in hardware, not in software, and thus are available only with the devices that have always supported them, e.g. UFX, UCX, 802, etc.
