Question 1.

I have buy a Hammerfall version 1 to upgrade my Ufx with a adat card 8 extra inputs. Can I use my interne Firewire input of my macbookpro for working with the Hammerfall? Thanks

Assuming you are referring to a Multiface, the answer is no... This is not a Firewire device.

Thanks for the quick response, I have an other question, I would use the multiface Version 1 as Adat Card for extention for the ufx. I think yes and if so does the unit work stand-a-lone in this way without the Host cable in a PCMCIA card or PCI interface card loaded? I have the coax out (clock cable )RME UFX and the SPdiff in/out -> to the multiface coax In and the SPdiff out/in. Would This work Without Host input connection? In witch way it work and whats the best methode for me, do you think? THANKS AGAIN

Sorry, no. There is no standalone operation.
