Topic: No sound for a few seconds

Hi guys,

I own an RME hammerfall dsp multiface:
When I open an audio file, after a few minutes I get no sound for 5-10 seconds, and then it gets fixed back again.
I'm almost sure it's because of my RME because I cant find any other reason for that to happen.

How can I check if this is what's causing the problem? I used the same monitors at my friends PC and the work fine  so it's not from  the monitors for sure.
Is that a problem with my RME? How can I "debug" and check that?
Is it a familiar problem? Is there a solution?

Use an external power supply for test.

What do you mean by power supply ?

Power supply into Multiface box. The power supplied via the PCI card might break down repeatedly.
