Topic: Pyramix 96Khz and Madiface XT compatibility

Hello,
I received recently my Madiface XT. I connect the madiface XT and my Dell Latitude Win 7 / 64  via the USB3 cable. In 48 Khz, verything works fine. In 96 khz, Pyramix and windows close. Any explaination? (In Asio4All, Pyramix opens and works without problem in 96 Khz).
Thanks for your help!

Re: Pyramix 96Khz and Madiface XT compatibility

Different Asio-Drivers often can hinder each other - specially when they are not from the same developer.
So if you have the possibility to uninstall Asio4all or at least to switch it inactive do it.
Check out then the situation with the madiface XT once more.

Good luck

Re: Pyramix 96Khz and Madiface XT compatibility

Hi,
I have exactly the same problem, but then with a bootcamped MBP running Win 7 32 bit. I deinstalled ASIO4all, but still the problem keeps appearing. Anyone knows why?
Thanks a lot!

Re: Pyramix 96Khz and Madiface XT compatibility

Hello
I have same problem using MADI face xt with Pyramix running on bootcamp windows 7 pro.
xt is locked to MADI from Antelope ORION 32 A/D at 192KHz via optical.
While xt is locked to ORION,pyramix can not boot up with a message "Pyramix can not initialize ASIO".

Pyramix can boot up when xt is locked to internal or frequency under 88.2.

After booting up xt is locked to internal, switching clock source from internal to MADI,Pyramix works fine.
Please let me know what is happened.

Any idea to fix problem?
All the drivers firmware are up to date.

Re: Pyramix 96Khz and Madiface XT compatibility

I am not sure if Pyramix 9.1.7 already fixes this, but v10 definitely does. Please contact Pyramix, they should be able to help in more detail.

Re: Pyramix 96Khz and Madiface XT compatibility

Same here - everything is up to date. I have to resort to another ASIO driver, which has fewer I/O options...
