Hi,
I've found an old RPM and was wondering if it will work with Mavericks?
Greets
Yes - with the RME HDSPe PCI card or the HDSPe Expresscard.

Ok, and what osx will support the rpm without express card?
Greets
None - the RPM can not be run without one of the interface cards. The older PCI and Cardbus cards will not work on Intel based Macs.

This is probably a good time to point out that the connector on the back of the RPM looks like a firewire port but it is NOT a firewire port.
The RPM needs the PCIe card or Expresscard to work. End of story. There is no workaround or hack to make that port into something else. It's a connection to the required card which is an RME card only. There are no 3rd party cards. If you have a Thunderbolt equipped Mac, get the RME Expresscard and the Thunderbolt to Expresscard slot by Sonnet (http://www.sonnettech.com/product/echoe … rbolt.html)
There are people on here using that combo and I think even RME tested that combo as well.
Take some time to marvel at EOL'd technology that's still working and above most people's spec and does things that newer boxes don't do.
