Topic: 2 x HDSPe AES Routing between cards

Hi.
I have 2 HDSPe AES to a total of 32 Ins and 32 Outs AES/EBU.
My setup is:
MacPro 5.1 running OSX 10.10.3 and 10.9.4 (I use 2 OS's for different DAWs)
6 core Xeon 3.33Ghz
32GB Ram
256 SSD

RME:
Mac os driver 4.03 - Rev. 9
Totalmix Version 1.08

How can I route an input from card 1 to a HW output in card 2?
Both the mixer and the matrix view don't seem to offer this possibility. It makes sense because HW routing is internal card only, but I need to confirm that there is no way, workaround, to remove DAW latency to the musicians   
I want to be able to do latency-less monitoring to musicians while recording.
I use Logic Por X and PT 10HD
Can you please give me some help?

There is no way other than connecting I/Os externally.

Ok. Thank you so much for that answer.
Puts the subject to rest...

I will probably have to move to the MADI FX and convert MADI to AES3 as I will need latency free monitor mixes.
This way all ch. will be routed in the same card.

Agreed!  Went from 2x Digifaces (with 2x TM windows) to a "base" HDSPe MADI card w/o TMFX, and the unified TM interface for all channels was the bomb.

Then, I upgraded to the new MADIfaceXT, and TM-FX blew me away even more!  Game changer IMNSHO...
