Topic: Route playback to Analog In in order to record in Audio editor

Hi there

I have never understood completely how the TotalMix FX software works and I am wondering if anyone can show me a screen how I have to configure the TotalMix FX of my Fireface 400 to get this scenario working:

I want to route may Fireface Playback Channel 1/2 Stereo (Hardware Analog 1/2 is also fine for me) to the Hardware Input of the Fireface in order to be able to record the Audio into Wavelab.

Any idea how to do this?

Second question is: if I playback a song in my DAW (FL STUDIO) using the ASIO fireface driver, will I be able to record the audio stream with a proper TotalMix FX setup in an audio editor like Wavelab or Soundforge using the same ASIO driver?

Activate "Loopback" on the AN 1/2 output channel. Then record input AN 1/2.
