Topic: Need Help. Downgraded to a HDSP 9632 from 9652 (Dont ask!)

Anyways...I just switched cards without uninstalling drivers..bad choice.  How do I install the 9632 (for instance have to get all references to 9652 out of registry I imagine).  I already went to *programs and features* and removed everything.  TIA

Hmm,

I should add that device manager doesn't recognize the 9632.  Maybe something's wrong with the card?

So I got rid of all references to hdsp.inf and rme in the registry EXCEPT it wont let me delete the hdsp.inf in the oem.37 key  because I don't have permission (?)  Am I on the right track?

If device manager doesn't recognise the card and there is also no unknown device, the card isn't working. Either bad card, not inserted properly or a motherboard conflict.
Simply installing the latest driver should be enough.

Oh and it is a HDSP9632 not a 9632? And what OS?
