Topic: How to convert digital signal using RME ADI 4 DD?

Hi Guys,

I have been trying link Apogee Mini Me's output (AES) to Audient iD14's S/PDIF(optical) input with RME ADI 4 DD as the format converter in between, but for some reason there's no signal coming out. Can you please help?

Here's the "pipeline":

Mini Me's output (AES)> AES EBU XLR cable> AES input on RME ADI 4 DD
RME ADI 4 DD S/PDIF(optical) output > optical cable > Audient iD14's S/PDIF(optical) input

Any ideas?

Many thanks in advance

Manual page 12:

Using the AES STATE key the second ADAT output can be configured to act as optical SPDIF output. When choosing AES STATE OPT., the red LED is lit constantly, and the channels 1/2 will also be transmitted via OUT 2.
