Topic: DSP FX innovation (suggestion)

RME has a very successful totalmix. Do you think advanced DSP FX for diversify to make it more succesfull? Like as UAD Apollo series. Maybe there can be some hardware preamp simulations/ re-amp simulations for Hi-Z instruments channel or more reverb & compressor (for babyface) ?
I know it is hard for just one dsp and just an usb power supply but maybe all RME audio interfaces can act as key/dongle for some rme VST / AU FX-Plugins ? I'm not an engineer but just i want this. I'm rme fanboy for many years:-]

oh, yes, that would be nice - for example - a built in Fractal Axe-Fx (I´m playing guitar & bass) in the Babyface Pro but unfortunately, i think that´s not possible smile

even the compressor (i like it a lot in the UCX) is not there (Babyface Pro).

absolutely. Actually preamps, EQ, reverb are enough for recording and of course Digicheck is enough for mastering. I love all rme's apps. I don't know how to build that but there would be more fx
