Topic: Radio interference on Headphone/Jack socket of 9632

Hi all, I've got an HDSP 9632.

My soundcard is connected to an integrated amplifier, using the jack output, which splits to red and white RCAs.

I have not been using the line outputs from the soundcard because when my computer starts up and shutdown there can be a loud pop/crackle from my speakers (assuming the amplifier is on). I therefore use the headphone output, which includes "pop suppression". This resolved the issue of pops on computer startup and shutdown.

However, I have recently moved house and find that on the headphone output only, I am picking up radio interference, which can be especially noticeable when I do not have music playing or the music volume is low.

I have tried a different adapter cable from the heapdhone output to the RCAs with no improvement.

Any ideas of how to track down the source of this interference and get rid of it?

Many thanks,

Jeremy
