Hey guys,

I purchased a HDSPe MADI FX card and using Pro Tools 12.3.1 on my (2013 black Mac Pro). Problem is, when I uncheck "Ignore Errors During Playback/Record” in the Playback Engine Panel, I get an error: "IO channel count for current playback device has changed. Please restart Pro Tools”. PT crashes every time "Ignore Error's" is unchecked.

I tried trashing PT pref’s, etc…, but nothing seems to work. When "Ignore Errors During Playback/Record” is checked, the problem subsides.

Does anyone know what the problem is and if there’s a fix or work-around?
