Topic: OSC control with my computer keyboard

The simplest things are the hardest to find...

I have TotalMix set up so that F4 loads snapshot 1, my normal routing and F8 loads snapshot 8, which mutes outputs... for emergencies. Naturally, I'd like this to work even when TotalMix is minimised.

I guess that's what OSC control is for?

There are tons of threads on Android/iOS control over OSC. But what about something simple for my (computer = ASCII) keyboard? All I want is to assign a keystroke to an OSC string.

On a Mac Osculator does this. I am on Windows 7.

OK, so I guess there is no solution. No way to control OSC from a normal computer keyboard? Wow, looks like an opportunity. :-)

Hi. I have written a small command-line exe that sends single osc msgs (for example to Totalmix on the localhost ip). I use this this in conjunction with Autohotkey macros to achieve the same kind of things you are wanting to do.  Let me know if you are interested in this.
