Topic: Identity of RME tosllink cable (OEM)

Hey I'm trying to locate the original OEM toslink optical cable that came with my ADI-8, but have been unable to find it online anywhere. Anyone know who makes is ?

Here's a picture of it.. and as you can see, it is identifiable by a small clear piece of plastic at the input base. The cable itself is also really thin with a harder covering, which I like because it doesn't bend very easy. This is one reason why I'm looking for a few more of these, since they don't bend very easily:

Hosa makes Toslink cables just like this (though I'm sure they aren't the OEM.) I've used hundreds of the Hosa cables. ( Hosa doesn't have the little clear plastic bit but I don't see the importance of that)

If you need cables that are not too think if you bundle 5 of them, then these cables are good.
Also the plug itself isnt too big. So the plug just right i.e. into a RayDAT where the ports are quite close.
They are plugged tight but not too tight.

To give you an alternative ...
