Topic: Is There No "Headphone Mix in Mono" Option in TotalMix?

I bought the UFX and the ARC, which literally has a dedicated Mono button on it, yet there is not an option anywhere that I can find that allows me to check my mix in Mono in the headphones. Really?

Please tell me I am missing the easy fix here...

Simply change 'Main Out' via Assign to your phones output.

Or do what I do - assign Speaker B to Phones. You can toggle between Mains and phones and have mono in either.

Both solutions are not really practical, especially not when using the ARC USB.

If I change Main Out to my Phones output I loose volume control over my monitors with the ARC (or I would need to define the speakers as headphones, but then I cannot Mono these anymore...).
We are already using b-speakers, thus putting the headphones as b-speakers does not seem practical either, in attended sessions with customers I also don't want to mute the monitors when checking something on headphones.

The best way would really if Mono could (optionally) affect the headphones as well.

My solution in my workflow:
I have Snapshot 1 as my main mixing snapshot, and snapshot 2 as my reference/computer audio. I have snapshot 3 as a copy of snapshot 1, but this snapshot has the width of my mixing playback channels set to 0. I have the snapshots on the ARC.

This way I can toggle mono for my mixing in the speakers and phones with a button.  It's not perfect, but it works in my workflow.

Thanks, might be the best workaround for the time being.

Any news on this?
We even got Crossfeed on the Phones now smile, but not a simple Mono switch.
It would be very useful if the Mono button in the Control Room could control Phones as well, as the described workarounds all come with other drawbacks.
