Manolo,
Where can I download your skins?
Which one do you want ? I'll send you by email.
I have some webspace available if you want.
Send me a mail if you like that.

Thanks, I also have webspace but finally, until Matthias put them online on RME website, I send them to guys who are interested. Just email me.

This is a great idea!
Thanks!
Ciao,
Marco
WOW Manolo, looks great! But what if I don't have JBLs?
Eagerly awaiting the .ZIP file...
hehe....where I come from we have a saying of JBL = Just Bloody Loud! No offence intended Manolo!
I would love to have the new black BMP's also Manolo - very slick....like a nice slinky Meredes
Sam
For OSX, I don't know how to convert.
For those who are interested, just email me.
For Sam, what an idea to use the Vertec serie for monitoring http://www.jblpro.com/vertec1/new_vertec/vt_nav.html ?, fryingpan :roll :-).
Heh, the subwoofers in the middle of that pic looks like something from The Matrix
you don't need anything special on a osx 10.5 to change the totalmix skin.
just do the following:
- download resource file
- quit totalmix in the dock.
- "show package contents" of fireface app
- replace contents/resources/fireface mixer.rsrc
- restart totalmixer.
goodluck
Hi Sander I really love this skin!
But I'm having one problem... If I open the matrix and mute one channel I get som kind of weird numbers in the muted zone.
Do you now why this is happening?
Just a little bug : the over.bmp doesn't appear correctly. As you can see in the screenshot, there aren't the last column and the last row (at the bottom) of the over.bmp. I drawed on the right channel how it should appear.
Manolo,
I got the bmps. Thanks a bunch!!!!
Just a little update to make sliders rounder (screenshots updated). Jose, I sent you the .zips updated.
Manolo,
Thanks so much. You just keep making them better don't ya? Great job as usual.
Peace!
i would love to use the black on on my HDSP 9632, can you post the BMPs. rotfl
thanks
Hi Manolo,
Do you think you can send me your bmp files (all versions )?
Looks good!
Thx,
Ola
Hi Eric Bradley,
I used those numbers to identify the different bmp's in the matrix mixer.
You must have an older version.
Did you get yours from the RME site?
Sander.
Sander, can you convert for OS X the Manolo last black skin, please?
If you want and if you have time, naturally....
:-)
Thanks!
Marco
Quattroquarti, (may I call you Uno)
Converting bitmaps is not my hobby.
Have fun with themepark and photoshop!
goodluck.
Sander.
Sander.
Manolo,
Nice skins. Could you please send me the black one? Thanks alot!
As I said, for those who are interested, email me so I could aswer you and join in attachment the .zip.
EDIT : sorry to be late to answer, all mails from RME users are in my "SPAM" box. For Simon, I have a Delivery Status Notification (failure) so I don't know if you received the bmp.
please post the back one in BMP, to use on my HDSP 9632.
thanks rotfl
We are working on the skin web page now, so should be there quickly.
Don't judge a man by the color of his skin!
It doesn't mather wether your skin is black or blue, we all have RME inside.
grtz,
Sander.
The skins are now available in the download section (add-ons) of the website. There is only a preview for the last blue skin missing. Who has one?
best regards
Knut
It seems that the last skin is the same than the first skin in fact (I looked at the .bmp inside the last .zip).
Thanks for putting the skins online :-).
I have been following this thread from the beginning and have just had a chance to update drivers to try the new skins. Manolo and Sander - GREAT WORK! And thanks to MC and the RME support staff for facilitating the ability to change the skins!
One of the reasons that I was excited about the changeable skins is because I have a FF800 and a HDSP9652. I was hoping to use a seperate skin for each instance of TM, but the way it is structured, one set of .bmp files is used by both apps (TotalMix and FireMix).
Can anyone suggest a way to make it where each would read their own set of .bmp's?
It would be great to have the ease of color identification at a quick glance to the screen and know which mixer is which. Yes, I know the layouts are different and they have different headings, it would just be the 'icing on the cake' if they were two different color schemes.
Thanks in advance.

The skins for download are Windows only....
Why there aren't Mac OS X versions?
Ciao,
Marco
Hello,
please note that we are all in holiday now. The skin downoad page will therefore be not fully perfect for a few days, but will be improved step by step. Don't worry!

These skins are very nice indeed. Now you got me wondering how I can port them
to hdspmixer (Linux) application. I will need to research this more...
Does anyone have any input that could help facilitate a hdspmixer port?
Mucho appreciado! :-D
I...Manolo and Sander - GREAT WORK! And thanks to MC and the RME support staff for facilitating the ability to change the skins!
That is!
Thanks to everyones!

outstanding work on the total blue skin! many thanks!! i was also tired of seeing the cubase VST mixer - it's a bit out dated, and definitely out of fashion thank goodness the RME hardware didn't borrow any VST design elements
now if only Digicheck OSX... mmmmm perfection....
Hello Matthew,
How do I submit a Totalmix skin.
For anyone who is having trouble getting this to work. I was trying for about 10 minutes with no success until i realized I wasn't "shutting down" TotalMix (firefacemixer). Simply clicking the icon in the task bar is only minimizing it. You have to right click the Icon and pick Exit to completely close it. Then reopen it from C:\WINDOWS\system32\firefacemix.exe. That was the missing piece of the puzzle for me anyway. I think this might be what your missing.
hi,
I really exit here, and even with a reboot, nothing, no new skin ...My Totalmix doesn't want to change his look.
cheers

When you open the Fireface Settings and activate the about box; what are the version numbers listed?
-Driver version?
-Hardware revision?
rw
I'm working on a Fireface Mixer skin and I'm wondering if anyone knows the name of the font used on the front panel of the FF400?
Sincerely
LarsErik

Make sure the skins are NOT in a subfolder. IOW, you should only have a folder named "bmp" with the bitmap files inside. You want to drop the "bmp" folder inside the "RME TotalMix" folder found in this location:
"C:\Documents and Settings\<Username>\Local Settings\Application Data\RME TotalMix"
HTH
Here is a skin I did.

Sorry for the repeat post, but I did want to raise this question again.

Thanks to Sander & MC for the Skin.
I'm a mac user so I hope that others skins will come soon.
Hi,
I'm pretty new to this forum, at least on posting here (:
I just noticed something, correct me if I'm wron : I currently use the TotalBlue skin by Sander and the output section has the same fader level labels as the input and playback ones even though it seems fader is at 0dB when it is at the top on the output section whereas it is at +6dB on input and playback sections.
Is it normal ? Am I missing something ?
I use Multiface version 1 on PCI and/or Expresscard.

Maybe you are not wrong since your TotalMix seems like when I was using a HDSP 9632 card. But now using the FF400 it is fine since the output has the + 6db either.

Great work, friends, thank you for skins! Now i have blue, and this much more better then old. Hope we can try black one for OSX someday.
I've just finished my first Fireface Mixer skin BasicBlue. I tried to mimic the hardware (in my case a Fireface 400) front panel while keeping the colors of the original mixer grapics as much as possible. I couldn't resist stealing the fader scale lines and numbers from previous skins in this thread, a really great feature IMHO.
A big thank you to RME making it possible to use custom graphics! :-)
Edit: I removed the first version since I messed up the scales on that one.
Sincerely
LarsErik
Just one question about the custom skins having "scale lines and numbers ":
Since it is possible to select as option -40 or -60 db as minimum level display, so is TotalMix is able to select another bitmap in such case? It seems not...

Ops.. didn't think of that..
very nice one LarsErik! Could you put your exe file also in the zip?
thx!
