Topic: Using a HDSPe 9632 with a PCI to PCIe bridge adaptor

Hello there, just curious if anyone has done this and how does the end result look ?

So far from what I have read it sounds like the 9632 cards are very compatible and generally work well in this setup (I will be using an asus z170 board). I'm willing to gamble on the compatibility and functionality of it, but I honestly have no idea how this would actually sit in a tower/chasis with this adaptor...

the one I am looking at is: http://www.startech.com/ca/Cards-Adapte … d~PEX1PCI1

this adaptor only holds half sized cards and the 9632 is a full sized card ?

if anyone has done this I would LOVE to see some pics of how it sits and looks once installed.

Also, anyone with compatibility info on using this bridge on new z170 boards would be nice too but primarily I would just like to see how you even install one of these in the case.

Thanks a lot for any help..
