Topic: Totalmix FX - settings not recalled

I noticed some time ago that Totalmix FX no longer loaded the latest state of settings on startup.
It seems that it loads the state that is from late november I guess.

I though I'd wait version 1.21 and see if it made a difference on this issue, but it didn't.

I tried to uninstall old versions of the driver from Windows 10 Pro,
but it seems that 1.0.88 refuses to uninstall.
"ERROR: File ´C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\...\fireface_usb.inf´ not found."

Could this be causing the behaviour of Totalmix FX?

Any ideas what to do with 1.0.89 which refuses to uninstall?

Check the files in the TotalMix FX path found in the manual. TM FX might not be allowed to write into this path. And your settings, they might be set to All Users.

There is no reason to uninstall, all files are already overwritten.

Thanks. It works now.

I emptied both C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\TotalMixFX and C:\ProgramData\TotalMixFX
and let TotalMix FX write the files again.
Then I ran TotalMixFX.exe as administrator and now everything seems to be just the way I want them to.
