Topic: Totalmix - Bit Depth and Volume

Good morning,
I m using an Rme hdsp Aio connected directly to my adam a8x, and i monitor my mixes with totalmix master set at -33db. It is a clean signal path and i m happy with it.
But Now i want improve my sound and i m thinking to buy a set of hdsp expansion input and output to record my Rme converter and give to my customer the Rme sound .
Makes it sense?

Another question
If i monitor with totalmix volume set at -33db i mix hearing any bit depth degradation and is better buy a passive volume control and set the totalmix to 0dbfs ?

I m using cockos reaper as daw that stream 64bit depth in out.

I did not understand the 'record my RME converter'.

-33 dB(FS) does not cause any audible bit depth degradation. As long as you can't hear the noise floor of the AIO's output you will be fine. More info:

Meanwhile TM FX has an even higher bit depth...

Ok thank you i ll read it now ,

for the "record my rme converter" i mean that when i mixing me and my customer listen to the sound of my rme , but when i export the track in wav and delivery it to my customer it bypass the converter.
Do you think that if i could print my mixes after a DA-AD stage it will sound better to my customer?

Edit: for example if i clip a bit the output stage of my rme converter?
