Topic: Problem with Multiface 1 + PCI card on Windows 7 64

Hi,

I recently reinstall my old Multiface 1 + PCI Interface card rev. 1.7 but cannot getting it
work properly. I flash the firmware for the new 1.8 but still says that is version 1.7 installed
and it says "up to date". I also installed the latest drivers 4.14. The result is a backgound
noise (electronic hiss with big cracking noises really loud). So it is not working well. Tried
also with previous drivers (3.085). Same result or no sound at all. Tried to plug my old
Digiface too with same result. Do you have any ideas on how getting it work? I'm on a PC:
Motherboard Asrock Z68 Extreme 4 / i7 2600k @ 3.40Ghz / 16g Ram 2133mhz /
Windows 7 64...

Thanks!

Have you performed a full PC power down/reboot?  The firmware update process requires that the HDSP card is fully powered-down for the firmware flash to "take".

cool
