Hi,

I have written custom mixing software on my Macbook to use Port Audio to configure input/output from the RME and process input buffers before sending to the output buffer. However, I do not see any audio recorded in my input buffer. I will only see audio if I set the input from Mic 1/2 to route to a physical output and set that output to loopback mode, and then address my input buffer received from the Port Audio callback at that particular output's offset (eg: Out 55/56). Is this the only way this will work? Or can I configure my Mic 1/2 input in a way where I won't need to enable loopback and waste an additional output channel to record this input?
