Please check with ALSA, I believe the card is well supported.

I've just set up a UbuntuStudio 16.04 on a PC with a RME 9632 and it runs fine without needing to handle separate drivers.

Cooperation with Ardour 4 http://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/ardour is also no problem. Just QJackCtl https://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/JACK/Grafis … iguration/ seems to mess around a bit (it crashes at once) but that might have something to do with UbuntuStudio 16.04 itself, not with the 9632 card.
