Topic: Multiface II Windows 10surround

I've recently upgraded to Win 10.

When trying to configure the audio (Speakers RME Hammerfall DSP) from stereo to surround in the loudspeaker setup, found under >Volume/ Speaker Settings/ Advanced< has to be changed from Stereo to 5.1 Surround. Win 10 fails to play test tone.

The driver I have for hammerfall is 3.0.8.5

Installing 414. the Speakers RME Hammerfall DSP in no longer present, and only gives me sterro pairs to choose from anlog (1+2)).

So I'm stuck trying to get windows 10 into 5.1 with old and current drivers.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Re: Multiface II Windows 10surround

Configure the Windows WDM devices in the Settings dialog. As described in the manual's extension for the 4.x series driver.

Re: Multiface II Windows 10surround

Thanks for the prompt reply MC.

Quick reference for others...

In Hammerfall DSP settings

Next to the configure box, drop dwon menu, choose multi channel.

In configure tick Analog 1-8

Now the speaker icon should appear in the Windows playback device menu.

Thanks
