Topic: Input Status:Spdif in DSP settings jumps from Sync to Lock every 5sec.

Hello,

i use HDSPe AIO card for two days now and want to put my Audiointerface Focusrite Saffire 24PRO to stay in line (via Spdif-Koax Out) for mic-purposes. ADAT currently is not a subject to me.

The Input Status of Spdif in the DSP Settings jumps always from "Sync" to "Lock" and back to "Sync" every 5sec.

Focusrite Saffire Settings are 44.1kHz, SyncSource =Spdif and are "saved to hardware" in Focusrite MixControl 3.7.
RME DSP Settings are: Sample Rate =44.1kHz, Clock Source =Internal

I think, that problem is solved due to this Focusrite How To 'Connectivity':

Send the RME's SPDIF OUT back into your Focusrite so it will slave/lock to it.  Or let the Focusrite be the system master, and set your RME to slave to SPDIF COAX input (but then the RME will not be able to change its own sample-rate via software / sample-rate will be specified on Focusrite).
