Topic: headphone out and speakers

Hi.
Can the headphone breakout cable on the HDSPe AIO be used to power 1 or 2 small speakers (4 inch)?

hmm. Ok. Thanks Matthias.

Could you elaborate a bit in layman type speech:)
I am able to use these speakers with the headphone out of my mixer but I just don't want to do it that way as I wouldn't have any switchability between speaker sets.

If I use the RME headphone out, I can use output selection in my DAW to pick between my mains and the "headphone speakers"?
(just to explain my rational (or lack thereof)).

If these speakers work with your mixer, just try it with the RME. I'll bet it works the same way.
