Topic: combining 2 RayDat for more I/O ?

Hello..my first post here and my first RME Hardware ))
recently i bought a RayDat card to connect my converters, im considering buying another one to expand my I/O in the studio.
i heard or red somewhere(cant find the info now) that 2 Raydat card can be combined to double the I/O

if it works like that do i need extra hardware or some kind of expansion, or only to buy another RayDat and thats it ?
how to set them up to work together ?

Thanks.

Re: combining 2 RayDat for more I/O ?

See handbook

Up to 3 devices can be placed into one PC.

As it is the same driver you can use all up to 3 RayDATs in your DAW using this one ASIO driver.

With Totalmix its different, TM is inside of the HW of a RayDAT, so they are separated from each other.
But of course you can start up to 3 TM instances for each of the up to 3 devices and control them.
But routing of channels is only possible within each of the single RayDATs.
So you cant route input 1 from RayDAT 1 and play them on RayDAT 2 or 3 main out, etc.
