Topic: TotalMix FX output threshold

Hello,
is it possible to set some threshold/limit on output faders in TMFX?
it happened to me few times I accidentally double-clicked the "Main" fader and it obviously jumps right to 0, luckily nothing playing at those moments,
I don't wanna kill my ears or speakers, usually listen around -35 so jumping to 0 is unsafe,
any help appreciated and apologies if such question was answered around forums already,
regards
~T.

-35 is a big mismatch. You should adjust your external amps so that your listening level is not lower than -10 dB in TM FX.

hmm to be honest I never thought about it this way,
I usually go with volume between -40 to -9 so I guess I could turn the monitors down a little though, thanks for the heads up smile
anyway, regarding my original question, I suppose there isn't a way to limit the faders, right?

Right. Of course you could disable the double click in TM FX preferences...

I have done this very thing, for this very reason.  works great and no more worries.

alrighty then smile
also I figured out one more very useful thing, which is custom "Recall" button volume - set it to -45dB on one system and -35dB on another system, works like static Dim which really comes handy smile
