Topic: Bit of a noob HDSPe AIO question.

Hey Guys,

I'm currently using an HDSP9652 alongside a Steinberg MR816x which is connected over ADAT. I'm about to upgrade my computer and will unfortunately no longer have a PCI port so I need to upgrade from my HDSP9652. My MR816x is also having some issues so I would like to get rid of that too.

I'm looking at the HDSPe AIO and I was wondering what do I need alongside it to get everything up and running. All I am looking to do is connect an output from my AXE FX II guitar preamp to it, and then output the sound from my DAW to my two monitor speakers and my headphones.

Will the included breakout cable let me do all of this, or will I need any additional accessories/hardware?

The included cables will be fine, unless you want XLR analog connections for your monitoring. Then you will need the optional balanced breakout cable (BO9632XLRMKH). The AXE FX II can connect to the card via coaxial SPDIF on the digital breakout cable that comes with the card.
