Topic: Midi implication chart? (TotalMix)

TotalMix.... Any midi control features being added in future updates?

One example would be Echo/Reverb timing and level via midi cc.

Thanks,

Re: Midi implication chart? (TotalMix)

In a world replete with MIDI controllers more MIDI control makes complete sense.
I'm really surprised there's no MIDI learn feature. We see these implemented in most VST instruments.
The generally excellent manual is poor when it comes to setting up MIDI control: there is no mention that Mackie control must be enabled to get buttons to respond, nor that it's the note off event that does the magic.

This setting is on by default. If you intentionally disable it then you should check in the manual what will happen:

21.8.2 MIDI page
Mackie Control Options
Enable Protocol Support. When disabled TM FX will only react on the Control Change commands of chapter 24.5.

Good point, thank you.
Could I ask for a small addition to the manual that mentions the note off event being critical? I use Cantabile as a VST host and it has extremely powerful MIDI manipulation and mapping. It can happily turn a CC event into a note event and those note events can be either ons or offs.
