Topic: remote control totalmix volume jittery with A/B speaker setup

I have a UCX with remote, the way I use it is keeping the phones out on the RME as a speaker B then speaker A as main outs.  This allows me to switch between the two with the prog button, the volumes are linked.  on windows 10 the linked speaker b volume is jittery and NOT linked to the main outs volume.  also, if I volume up with the remote the gain per turn is more for speaker A so by the time it's at full volume the speaker B volume is not halfway yet.  Even though they are supposed to be linked.  I don't appear to have this problem on my mac with Yosemite.  Any ideas?

The problem is not Windows 10 but USB on your Windows computer - it doesn't work 100%. Those settings are a stream of values between hardware and TotalMix FX, and get lost over USB.

You could try a different USB cable, different USB ports, setting Windows to High Performance mode etc.
