i got a really good offer for a Synthax ADI/S but i have some questions as i don`t find any technical information on the net:
- are the technical specs the same as the ADI8-DS --> https://www.rme-audio.de/products/adi_8_ds.php ?
(Sync align, Sync check, icc)
- is there some documentation online for this model?
- how old are the units, as it seems like a 15 anniversary Synthax editon?

The unit is from around 2003 to 2005. Specs would equal the very first DS version - if it supports Double Speed (if it is has the DS keys on the front), which are not much different to the latest ones. Only the plate is different, AFAIR.

So, if i get you right. ADI/S with Double Speed knob on the front equals the first version of the RME ADI/8 DS which only differs to the latest version in regard of the Faceplate?
So, then the techspecs for the ADi-8 DS from the old RME Website are the same as the ADi/S.
The ADI-S is indeed the ADI-8 DS with a different front panel.

I use the ADI8pro's.
As far as I know they don't send out clock by themselves. I believe the option is on there to provide for the clock cards that come with RME audiocards, such as the 9652.
Why don't you just use the clock from the mac? Works like a charm here via adat.
