Hi,

Pro Tools is able to remotely control thei Avid PRE mic preamp hardware via MIDI.

As far as I understand, Pro Tools speaks to each 8-Channel PRE preamp box
via a dedicated MIDI channel. PT can address up to 9 PRE units (so in total 72
preamps), and I can select send and receive MIDI channel for each of them.

Any chance to make TotalMix understand this protocol? If not possible in
TotalMix (lack of virtual MIDI port?), perhaps directly UFX/UFX+ using their
MIDI ports? I understand that Micstacy already supports the "PRE" protocol spec.
