Topic: prevent totalmix from reseting levels all the time?

Hey guys,

for a while now I have an issue that never occured to me before:

everytime I switch apps (cubase, wavelab, vlc, other media players, etc), the levels of totalmix are set to 0dB,
which means that I'm working on stuff in cubase and quickly switch to vlc to listen to some mp3 and it blows my ears, because totalmix is not keeping the levels, but resets to zero. (even though my snapshot has other settings)

any way to make totalmix ignore all the apps and just keep my settings?

best
jean

I'm on OSX Yosemite 10.10.5 Cubase 8.5 wavelab 8.5.

Re: prevent totalmix from reseting levels all the time?

It's not TotalMix, but Cubase and Wavelab that change the output level to 0dB. You can disable this.
