Topic: installation directory structure on windows 7 x64

Hi,

I'm looking for detailed information on where the drivers and firmware flash utility are installed on a windows 7 x64 system.
can someone list the directories I can find these in?


the reason for asking is I'm trying to update my RME AIO and RayDAT in the same system from  firmware revision 13, to 14.

Nothing is happening after restarting and I cannot find the utilities anywhere on my system.

The firmware flash utiltity is the one that you started, so the question where it resides makes no  sense.

Did you just restart, or turn down the computer completely? This might be necessary.

So you're saying the rmeinstaller.exe is the flash utility?

I'll try a full shutdown tonight, I always sleep my DAW.

Looks like you did not download the firmware update tool (?). It is called pcie_fut.exe and is available here:

well there's your problem...

I had downloaded it already but lost it in the mess of files in my downloads folder and never opened it until now.

Thanks for the quick responses, cards flashed and everything good now.
