Topic: ADI-2 Pro Firmware Update 128 DSP 70
The first firmware update for the ADI-2 Pro is now available. We collected some errors in logic and functionality, improved operation and specs, added the 'measurement mode' when using 384 kHz sample rate with analog I/O (see updated manual), and rewrote the volume control code as the values shown in the display did not match the real volume / damping below -60 dB.
Here is the info found in the readme:
11/25/2016: ADI-2 Pro updated to 125/69.
New: A DoP signal at AES or SPDIF input temporarily switches off the SRC. New filter to optimize the frequency response at 384 kHz sample rate (measurement function, see updated manual).
Improved: Dark Volume Screen design. THD at maximum output level (0 dBFS) optimized. EQ Save automatically sets the Preset number of the last EQ load process. Volume values changed to the real damping values, correct functionality down to -96,3 dB.
Fix: AES/SPDIF Output Level Meters sometimes showed wrong colours. With input signal ADAT the warning messages 'No Emphasis' and 'Non-Audio' were sometimes shown. In mode USB Multi-channel, at sample rates above 48 kHz and during DSD playback Emphasis is no longer signalled at AES and SPDIF output if activated manually.
All drivers, firmware, DIGICheck and the updated manual can be downloaded directly from the ADI-2 Pro's website:
