Re: Adi 2 pro & saturation ??

No, that's fully normal. It has no volume control and sends out the bit exact data that you stream to it via whatever media player you use. If you want to see more details of that level near 0 dBFS install and use the oversampling (OVS) level meters of DIGICheck.

Re: Adi 2 pro & saturation ??

Oh thanks you ! i was afraid of that !

So i'm going to buy these monitoring : http://www.genelec.com/studio-monitors/ … o-monitors

How could i 'have volume control in Aes/ebu connection ???
(i would to have a fully aes numeric connection, xlr is to connect my musical fidelity power amplifer)

thanks !! this product is amazing !

Re: Adi 2 pro & saturation ??

And last questions,

Is there a différence of quality between ref level  +4db / +13db / +19db / +24db ??

And for input mic, which is the best ? To set hight level in my preamp mic or th eset a lower volume in my preamp mic and to compense with the adi 2 pro ?

I recommande Rme everytime i can ! the best !

Not from the ADI-2 Pro. It is not designed for that.

No.

You have to try this yourself. Some mic preamps achieve a better SNR at higher gains. That means setting the ADI to higher ref levels could give better results.

You can have the desired volume control on the Genelec side, just add the Genelec GLM 2.0 and Genelec volume knob to your setup.
