Topic: (Solved) problems on routing UFX audio inside cubase 9

Hi everyone!

hanving an issue here that is killing me for two days, the sound output from my computer is going fine through my ufx, but when i try to record something in cubase 9 i have no audio signal in track.
I´ve thought it could be something to do with cubase, but when i open guitar rig as stand alone, it doesnt recieve any input signal. Am I making something wrong in total mix? Sorry for the dumb questions but i´m quite new to this things. Thanks guys!

P.S. have all drivers updated and installed.

Sure you are using the proper ASIO driver in Cubase and that you configured all required inputs and outputs in VST settings ?

The RME driver always passes through all incoming signals of Hardware Inputs (of the recording device) to the DAW.

What does TotalMix show - incoming levels? Are the hardware outputs set to loopback mode?

Hi friends, thank you for the quick response! Ramses, i've thought the same thing, the driver i've installed it two days ago from RME website, driver version 1.098, but everything goes ok as for output. Matthias thank you for support, yes, i can see all incoming levels on TotalMix, just using for now mic input 9 with electric guitar, tried the loopback option (hope to done it well..) but no input signal on cubase. the weird thing is that without cubase, with guitar rig as stand alone, input signal doesn't arrive also. I must be doing something wrong in total mix, or in cubase, or perhaps i've missed something to install, i'm really confused..

Can you provide a screenshot of each ... Cubase driver selection and VST input channels ?

Well, it indeed sounds like you record on channels 1/2 but provide a signal on channel 9...

Ramses and Matthias, i've upload the images through this link on my facebook page (sorry, dont know yet how to post it here, promise i'll study better this things and quit being an "so old school guy").

if it helps, i have my speaker monitors momentarely connected to outputs 7 and 8, but today ill be changing it to 1 and 2 XLR outputs. but dont think in any way how this can be of interferance with my issue.

So sorry for wasting your time, i'm really thankfull to you guys!

Re: (Solved) problems on routing UFX audio inside cubase 9

I manage to figure to enter signal on cubase. The signal from 9 to 8 seens to work ok on "Stereo In" option on cubase control room, so for this everything ok. But for the inputs 9,10, 11 and 12, no signal in cubase 9! is this channels needed to be treated diferently in order to work like the others? I'm sure is some idiotic thing that i'm (not) doing, this is making me crazy smile thank you!

p.s.- in both cases (1to 8, and 9 to 12 input), are going through output 1/2 in totalmix. But just input 1 to 8 are working on my daw and softwares.
