RayDAT is a pure digital card.
You would need a preamp not only with inputs but also with analog outputs.
Some people buy the RayDAT but then don't further invest into RME products to save money.
Then you only have the rock solid RME devices: driver quality, TotalyMix FX, DigiCheck,
but not i.e. the quality of RME preamps.
The AIO is quite expensive, if you would have to expand it with additional channels.
Then you are IMHO better of to directly get the UCX. The UCX has some nice features ...
Autoset, FX chip in board, USB and Firewire, etc ...
An overview over these devices you can get here:

The Excel file with the comparison sheet is in german, but as its technical data, it should be readable by you.
PCIe cards have certain advantages for very big projects, but if you look at the pure numbers, the excellent ASIO USB/FW drivers from RME come very close to PCIe.

If you have more budget, then perhaps go for UFX II as the devices have been much enhanced in different ways, to be read here in this article as well: http://www.tonstudio-forum.de/blog/inde … 8-RME-UFX/
