Topic: 1/2 Input channels totalmix

hi,

I am working with Ableton (if need to know)  and I have two input channels (3 and 4) from my babyface pro out of the same synth. both of them are set on mono. the problem is that I hear from both of the channels these to lines together.

Other Question,
How can I replace the inputs 1/2 , that I will be able to connect instrumet and not mic?

Many thanks
G

Re: 1/2 Input channels totalmix

Either RTFM or WTFYV (Watch the friendly Youtube Video) wink

Input channel -> Tool symbol ... then you'll see it ...

Regarding Videos .. here the very good ones from RME, highly recommended:

Hi

thanks for your response!

But it doesn't work for me. first in the tool symbol I have "Pad" and not "Instr". Anyway, I had try it but still only 3/4 inputs show up in my daw and also in the Totalmix display sad

I just edited my first message for one more question.

Re: 1/2 Input channels totalmix

Re: 1/2 Input channels totalmix

babyface pro.

after another check I think the problem is with the synth output setting. becouse I connected the input 2 to the headphones out and that work.
So I stay with my second question
I still can hear input 4 also in 3.

Re: 1/2 Input channels totalmix

The handbook clearly states that IN 3/4 are line/instrument inputs.

I sent guitar to input 4 and the bass to input 3. Both on mono.

now I am hearing from input 3 = the bass and the guitar.

And from input 4- only the guitar

Edit:
Ok solve! smile
the problem was the synth settings.
And that what happen with two new devices in the same time.

Thanks a lot!
